Rinse and replace fresh water twice a day. After 3 days rinse your fish well one last time and cut into smaller pieces. Put it on the side for later. Prepare your pot; add to med heat. Add 4 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic and onions. Add chopped potatoes, stir well and let simmer for two minutes. Now add tomatoes and stir. Add bay leaves, chili, oregano, salt and pepper. Cover with water and let simmer until til potatoes are cooked. Once your potatoes have softened you can add your cod fish and olives and enjoy! If it is too dry add water.
