I finally had the chance to try Dolphins Restaurant, an old-school steakhouse located on the 7th floor of an industrial building. A friend recommended this place, mentioning it as a popular dating spot in the past. The decor might be dated, but it exudes a strong sense of nostalgic charm! Dolphins’ Restaurant offers a set menu for both lunch and dinner, featuring classic Western dishes such as steaks, fish and chips, and pork chops, with most items priced below $30. Each set includes free-flow soup of the day, garlic bread, coffee or tea, and dessert. The highlight of our visit was the Succulent Ribeye Steak. Served sizzling on a cast iron plate, the steak was juicy, tender. Paired with rich black pepper sauce, a baked potato, and vegetables, it truly represented old-school Western fare at its best. Hidden in an industrial coffeeshop, Hong Ji Ban Mian serves up generous portions of handmade noodles by an old couple. We highly recommend their dry mee hoon kueh.
