Yayyy! I made the Houston Chronicle main page 😍 Thank you so much @joeyguerra and @houstonchron Click the link in my bio to watch my new music video “To’a La Noche” AGA CLICK 🤘🏽🤠🤘🏽 #Repost @houstonchron with @use.repost ・・・ Amanda Solis leads a girls night out, Texas style, in the music video for new single “To’a la Noche.” The vibrant clip, premiering exclusively on our site, is from Solis’ upcoming debut album “Space Vaquera,” a modern take on regional Mexican music. It was directed by Houston-based GFilms. Solis has built a nationwide following as a Selena tribute artist and pays tribute to the Tejano icon throughout the video, who would have turned 53 years old this month. “To’a la Noche” was filmed in Corpus Christi and features scenes along the seawall and of the Mirador de la Flor, the life-size Selena statue visited annually by fans. Solis says the video’s karaoke scenes were also a callback to the start of her Selena tribute. In 2016, she was at a bar in Kemah when a friend prompted her to sing “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” in a karaoke contest. She won and began receiving offers to perform at events.
