Survey: Former president Rodrigo Duterte is top senatorial pick Former president and current Partido Demokratiko Pilipino chairman Rodrigo Duterte (Rody Duterte) topped the survey conducted by Oculum Research and Analytics for prospective senatorial candidates for the 2025 polls. The survey conducted from Feb. 21-29, 2024 showed that Duterte got a 93-percent awareness rating from the respondents, the highest among the prospective senatorial candidates for 2025. Go: PH needs own version of ‘Stark Law’ Senator Bong Go said the Philippines needs its own version of the “Stark Law” in the United States, which prohibits doctors or physicians from referring products or services from companies where they and their close relatives have a financial stake. "We can start crafting our own version of the Stark Law. Dapat bawal po itong mag-refer ang doktor sa mga entities kung saan may financial relationship sila. FPRRD slams Bulacan mayors for denying rally permit Former president and PDP Chairman Rodrigo Duterte (Rody Duterte) slammed Bulacan mayors for denying a permit for his group to hold a rally in the province and reminded them that Filipinos have a right to peaceful assembly. “Ito namang gusto namin ay mapayapa. Hindi kami binibigyan ng permission ng mga mayor na mag-rally,” sabi ni Duterte. “To peacefully assemble for redress of grievance is a Constitutional right of everybody. You just cannot violate it.
