I always recommend a gentle, plastic brush to evenly brush the fur, and use a plastic-tipped slicker brush to get out any mating or tough areas on your fursuit. At conventions, after taking it off, you always want to bring fans to dry everything as fast as possible, and of course use a great smelling fursuit spray! Lastly, when you get home, clean your suit as soon as you can. Don't store a stinky suit and put off cleaning, that's a bad habit and can really result in stained fur or odors that linger, even after cleaning! When cleaning, use a green machine for delicate suits, or a gently washer / bath tub and a gentle detergent like Woolite!!
