Like one of my favorite hymns once said, “Prayer changes things and it changes me.” If you are tired of praying or just do not know what to pray, you are in the company of every other wife or wife to be or wife waiting on God to send in her spouse. I traveled with a lot and I came back with a lot. One of those things, unfortunately, were germs. As revival season is upon me, I am always preparing during the months leading to fall to be on a pulpit and when I am preparing in burn out or just not feeling well, I love to have a little cheat sheet. While I love to study in deal th about old words, history and languages… its the sermons that bring the Bible’s characters and stories to life in an emotional way that make the most impact. Even when I am writing a new manuscript, my brain goes faster than my note taking and its so much easier for me to highlight in one book than lise 8 notebooks Im jotting in. This year, this is my go to study. It’s simple, well formatted, beautifully designed and edited and a great introduction to the major and minor stories in the Bible. If you won’t be getting it, I will be reading some of it to you as I feel better and get into it more.
