Being a girl Mom doesn’t have to be scary 🫶 When we say what we think are hurtful words, it’s anyones gut reaction to think they’re wrong and in trouble. Nothing she said was “mean”, it was 3rd grade things she went through and I walked beside her through it. 4th grade has been amazing so far and I am so grateful she chooses to share about it all with me. The good, “the bad” and the average days sprinkled in. I asked her if I could share this moment to encourage other parents to trust their kiddos with their private emotions and she said “absolutely!
