because i couldn’t decide if i wanted to make pumpkin protein bars or a pumpkin chocolate bark 🤭 recipe below… Ingredients: 🎃 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 🎃 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey 🎃 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 🎃 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 🎃 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or pumpkin spice flavored) 🎃 6 ish ounces dark chocolate 🎃 Flakey sea salt, for topping Instructions: 🍫 In a bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, maple syrup (or honey), pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, sea salt, and protein powder until smooth and well combined. Adjust sweetness to taste. 🍫Line a small baking tray with parchment paper. Spread the pumpkin mixture evenly onto the parchment paper, about 1/4 inch thick, shaping it into a rectangular or square shape. 🍫In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, melt the chopped dark chocolate until smooth and melted.
