What it is: Lasting Mega Matte Liquid Lip Shade: 709 Strapless Wears up to 16 hours My thoughts: I’m not normally a big fan of matte lip products but I thought I’d give this a try. Pros: It dried really fast and it didn’t smudge once it dried so I do believe the long lasting wear claims are a possibility. Cons: It says that it takes one swipe to apply this product and that was not the case for me. The product looks thick on the doe foot (applicator) but once it’s on your lips it’s slightly sheer. It took 3 applications to get this final color you see in the picture. The final color also doesn’t look like the same color on the website. It shows up a light pinky brown purple..? There is more emphasis I think on the pink showing up. On the website it appears more brown. It’s not a color I would choose for myself, but it was interesting to try something new. My thoughts: I love using products that incorporate ingredients like tea leaves into them. I feel closer to nature and I love that this is not stripping my skin barrier. My skin smelled so good after the bath that my family members could smell it on me. The lotion works great as well. It compliments the body wash with the same ingredients minus the tea leaves. Just like moisturizer for your face, it helps to keep the moisture in your skin from the bath and further moisturized my skin making it very soft. The packaging is so cute too!
