If you're in your 20s and unsure where to start with investing, here are 5 steps to get you going 🚀 1. Choose a reliable brokerage, like Fidelity, Vanguard, or Charles Schwab. 2. Open a Roth IRA to enjoy tax-free withdrawals on your earnings at age 59.5. 3. Link your checking account to your Roth IRA and contribute up to the maximum annual limit. 4. Train yourself to save and invest at least 20% of each paycheck. 5. Don’t forget to buy assets! This is the most common mistake people make with their Roth IRA — they open the account but never invest in any assets.
