Day 7 of my Thanksgiving Series: Pumpkin Tres Leches🧡 If you’re looking to bring something other than pumpkin pie for your Thanksgiving party, this tres leches won’t dissapoint! Stay till the end for my nieces thoughts on this dessert😂 Ingredients: • 1 box of spice cake mix • 3 eggs • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil • 1 can of pumpkin puree (15 oz) • 1 can evaporated milk (12 oz) • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz) • 1 cup whole milk • 2 cups or 1 pint heavy whipping cream • 3 tbsp powdered sugar • dash of vanilla • cinnamon for topping Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl mix together the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and pumpkin puree. Pour the mix into a greased 9 x 13. Bake fir 28-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it sit on the counter or outside to cool. After it’s cooled, poke holes all throughout the top. Don’t do this when it’s hot or warm! Mix together the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and whole milk. Pour over the cake as evenly as possible. Cover and let sit in the fridge for at least 3 hours. When it’s ready to serve, make your whipped cream by beating together the heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla. I don’t like my whipped cream very sweet since the cake is pretty sweet. But you can add more powdered sugar if you’d like!
