Kaydyn is officially halo free (for now)!!!! We are taking this time for her to grow and heal until further surgeries are needed. We have started taking Kaydyn off the ventilator several times a day. This is a huge step because she would not tolerate it for even one minute about a month ago and now we are up to several minutes at a time several times a day. We are so proud of our girl and every accomplishment that she makes whether it be big or small. She use to be off of the ventilator all day and only on it at night but after her third spinal fusion it was a shock/mystery to everyone that she didn’t tolerate being off of the ventilator at all so this has been huge strides for a girl.
