When I was struggling with fatigue, sleep issues, & cravings… one of the first things I did was delayed my caffeine intake upon waking and added a nourishing drink. This helped reset my cortisol diurnal rhythm and contributed to decreasing my fatigue, energy crashes, sleep issues and even my cravings. (Cortisol reset point 1) Dandelion Root Tea can be a good swap for coffee (you don’t have to completely cut coffee though!), and is one of my favorite teas! 🌼 Roasted Dandelion Root Latte 🌼 ▫️ 1 cup brewed roasted dandelion tea ▫️ 1/2 cup warm milk of your choice ▫️ 1 tsp pure maple syrup ▫️ 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract ▫️ 1/8 tsp cinnamon Optional: ▫️Add brewed chai tea: to do this cut the serving of dandelion tea in 1/2, and chai tea Roasted Dandelion Root has anti-inflammatory properties & is considered a digestive bitter which can be both beneficial for the gut and liver detox! And did you know that the liver plays a crucial role in cortisol metabolism? (Cortisol reset point 2) When picking teas, I go for organic! So what we don’t want is lymph flow to get “stagnant.” We can help lymph flow, really, by getting in movement! Common Questions: ▫️ How many times a week? I try to do this 3-4 times a week, but can be done daily ▫️ How long do you do this? I personally do it for 10 minutes, but can be done longer ▫️ When do you do this/best time? Any time of day, but I tend to do this while watching TV at night and THIS is why I love it! ▫️ Other benefits? Lymphatic drainage, blood flow, bone health, recovery (can be beneficial to do after workouts), fat loss (can help burn calories) ▫️ Do you have to be standing still?
