Ohhh the swim gains. Really glad old me thought getting a video during one of my first ever swims was a good idea. It’s lovely to look back on 😂 I was in my 11m condo pool and struggled to get from one side to the other. My current training regimen is a hybrid mix of heavy lifting for power and agility. Runs and swims for endurance. No need for a racing bike just yet, building up the cardio and frequency. I am officially 3 months into my half Ironman training. Feeling stronger and better than i ever imagined i could feel like. 5 things that have made a huge difference in my life and training: 1. Having a coach who programs every workout and gives me accountabilty and support. (yes, i am this for many people but having my OWN coach is huge. I will never be without one). It’s hard to push yourself, lean on others. 2. Eating to perform. Carbs and calories at an all time high. Exactly where my body needs them to be. 3. Saying NO to so many things. I am thriving off of a very simple routine. I do a lot of the same things, i train at the same times, i eat and sleep on a schedule. There was a time where i would have thought this was boring but i cant explain the peace and productivity this simplicity in routine has brought to my life. Allows for so much energy to be saved for my daughter too. 4. Focusing more on recovery just as much as training. My Sleep, sauna, stress management, and nutrition DIALED IN. 5. People keep asking me what i do on the long rides and runs? Yes. I listen to music and occasional podcasts but Tbh, ive found so much solitude in chatting with God. I pray, i reflect on ME and my life. Turns out a great way to pass time is to sit with yourself with no distractions and address your own BS. 6.I started training for something bigger than myself. @brooks and I finally started our dream of a nonprofit and will be racing to send Bibles all over the world and funding for other community projects right in our backyard. If you struggle to do things for yourself, dedicate them to someone else or something bigger than yourself. I’m averaging 11-13 hours of endurance work plus 4-5 x 45 minute strength sessions in Body & Bell. This is a strength program you can also join. How we train for triathlons and races with a baby. ➡️Im training for an Ironman 5150 in June and Half Marathon in October, My husband is doing the 70.3 Ironman the day after me, and a full marathon in October (both still easier than delivering a baby IMO) 😉 Truth is, we had no idea how this was gonna work, or if it was gonna work. We invested in our home gym to make things eaiser (we love our @Peloton bike and treadmill !) but truthfully, since this was something important to us, we made it work. Just like you make everything work when you have a baby. You figure it out, so if you are pregnant, or post partum or are worried about how you arent going to let fitness and your health slip to the side, im here to tell you that you WILL make it work, and it truly is so much sweeter with that little smile cheering you on 🩷 #newmom #postpartumjourney #postpartumfitness #runningmom #fitmom #ironmantraining

Moja droga po lepsze życie zaczęła się w marcu 2023. Miałam głównie zrzucić zbędne kilogramy i przygotować się do wspinaczki na Mnicha w Tatrach, jednak stało się to moim sposobem na życie. Trenuję 5-6 razy w tygodniu i niejednokrotnie brak mi motywacji by pójść na trening, ale dyscyplina której się trzymam sprawia że codziennie jestem lepszą wersją siebie.
