One day at a time! I did it guys!☺️ First on the surgery list today so I was taken down at 8:30am and woke up in my recovery room around 12ish , was in there for a little while with oxygen and observations as I had the shakes after waking up, got all warmed up and had a nap before heading back onto the room on my ward around 2:30pm, Feeling good, been for my first wee since coming back which was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be which is amazing!! Going to continue to take it easy and get lots of rest, currently waiting on my sandwich and yogurt as I’ve had two bottles of water, two hot chocolates and a brownie, but I felt very sick after the brownie so I’ve just had my anti sickness medication pumped into me ☺️ Surgery went well with no complications, just waiting now to see Rob (the surgeon) to find out more, But all in all I am feeling good, pain is starting to kick in but I’m keeping up with my medications and everyone has been so lovely and I feel so well looked after from the team and also my wonderful family who are here catering for my every need 🥹 Can’t wait to have a nice long nap, just wanted to update you all, thank you all so much for your wonderful messages!
