Dumbbell Only Tricep Guide 💪🏼 If you only have access to DB’s I recommend trying to hammer the long head of your triceps with the PJR Pullover for 2-3 sets. Then, you can just perform one other exercise that hits the lateral and medial head nicely. A couple sets close to failure will do 👌🏼 something like a JM press or Skull Crusher — or an overhead moment could work Save this so you always have it. Hope this helps you. Maximize your Rope Curls ⚠️ . Rope Curls is a great arm finisher movement you want to incorporate into your lifts. When performing this exercise with a Neutral Grip, this will emphasize your Brachialis/Brachioradilias. Recently saw a video that went insanely viral on how to train forearms, specifically the top by the elbow (brachioradialis), and it was just downright wrong. The primary function of the brachioradialis, which is by far the meatiest muscle on the top of the forearm, is to bend the elbow, so no amount of squeezing and bending the wrist one way or another is going to train it well (which is what this video was saying to do). So let’s clear it up based on anatomy and not what some dude came up with by himself based on what he “feels” The forearms are composed of lots of little muscles but lots of them are so little that even with dedicated training they aren’t going to grow big enough to make much of a difference. That’s why it’s best to focus on the largest ones in order to get the best bang for your buck. Luckily, these larger muscles perform relatively simple functions so you don’t need to get all weird and inventive with your training for them. The muscles in the forearms will get a lot of work as byproduct of doing other upper body stuff that uses your hands (I.e. most exercises for the upper body), especially pulling and curling stuff. ~$1/day to join my online training groups designed for beginner to advanced lifters where we implement research-backed training principles to ensure fast progress.
