One of my favorite transformations was adding this teakwood wall to our bathroom. It was definitely an expense but absolutely worth it. Plain and simply it holds up well in bathrooms because it is water resistant. It is naturally high in protective oils which make it resistant to moisture, rotting and warping. Since this was going right near the bathtub and sink, it was exactly what I needed. Not all projects are budget friendly, but when you work hard to save money on most of them, it makes the few you need to splurge on that much easier.
