3 Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Bathroom I love doing simple projects that change the space without costing a ton of money, and these ones are so easy they anyone can do them. 1. Add peel and stick wallpaper. It’s hard to mess up, but if you do, just take it off. This one is Fiona from @wall.blush. 2. Paint your light. I took this one off, spray painted it with @mycolorshot matte black added wire cages. Totally changed the whole look. 3. Change your hardware. This is very inexpensive and takes seconds to do. One of my favorite transformations was adding this teakwood wall to our bathroom. It was definitely an expense but absolutely worth it. I usually focus on budget friendly projects and if I can make it myself I will do it. I looked everywhere for teakwood that I could refinish myself but just couldn't find what I wanted. Then I discovered these panels from @homedepot and decided they were worth the cost. It's been two years and I am still love with this wall. Why teakwood? Plain and simply it holds up well in bathrooms because it is water resistant. It is naturally high in protective oils which make it resistant to moisture, rotting and warping. Since this was going right near the bathtub and sink, it was exactly what I needed. Not all projects are budget friendly, but when you work hard to save money on most of them, it makes the few you need to splurge on that much easier.
