I’m definitely going to watch Quiet on Set as soon as I can process the information but I listened to Jennette McCurdy’s book on Spotify premium. It was so powerful and hearing her story in her own voice as she dehumanized Dan as “the creator”. I am so sad this happened to her, but it’s incredibly insightful to victims of SA. The police and the court system really do not have the education or resources to handle this information. No one talks about it. Victims have very few rights and it feels like the system repeatedly tells offenders that it’s okay. It’s so hard and scary to speak up. Thank you @Jennette McCurdy for telling your story.
