Once you get past 30, your body is like an old car. You can keep it running but it’s going to take some work. I talk to people daily who suffer from chronic pain, low energy, stress, feeling weak and dealing with multiple health issues. Most of these things are 95% avoidable. Just ask yourself “Do I feel the best I can with what I have right now?” I don’t just mean physically either. So many people suffer from mental stressors as well. I’m not going to lie to you and tell you it’s going to be easy, but it’s not impossible either. Start simple. I mean real simple: 💪🏽Walk for 15 minutes a day and gradually increase by 5 min every couple weeks as you feel better 💪🏽Stretch for 5 minutes a day. You could do this in 1 minute sessions spread throughout the day. 💪🏽Incorporate some at home body weight exercises a few times a week. No more than 10 minutes worth. 💪🏽Do a 5 minute meditation or guided breath work session every other day. 💪🏽Have 7 home cooked meals a week focusing on whole foods, protein and fiber. 💪🏽Get a consistent 7-8 hours of sleep at least half of the week. Sounds easy right? You want to start SO damn easy that if you don’t do it you feel like a piece of poop. Making it easy to start eliminates your brains ability to find excuses.
