Pasta Aglio 🧄, olio 🫒, e peperoncino 🌶️…an absolute classic that will never get old… This beautiful yet simple pasta dish is a family favorite in my house, especially when we make spaghetti di mezzanotte (midnight spaghetti.) Anyone who has been over my house for a family party that went on past midnight will know what I am talking about 😉. In Italian culture, it’s custom that if your guests stay on late after having had dinner, around midnight you offer a quick pasta dish with pantry staples in case they may be hungry again! And the answer is……….NO!! You should NOT be washing your chicken or poultry before preparing it🐓 I’ve gotten this question soooo many times that it felt necessary to make this PSA! Our poultry nowadays goes through such an intensive process before it reaches us that most of the “washable” things are taken care of. If you do want to get rid of anything, all you need is a wipe down with some paper towel — both easier and SAFER since it won’t spread bacteria in your sink!
