This could actually be a game changer for driving range sessions . I don’t know about anyone else but this one was the first I have seen of its kind . You can adjust it to quite a good height and it also comes with measurements on the tee it’s self to tell you how high it is and to make sure that it stays consistent each time you go . It also just means that you can get it to the same height as the tee you use out on the course as I tend to find that the driving range tees normally are just a little smaller and a little bigger than your average castle tees and just how high for me personally at least I like to tee it . It also feels better to hit from than the rubber ones that a much thicker and have a lot more friction through impact . I though that might of been a problem actually as I thought it could be prone to breaking but it feels really strong and I can see it lasting for a number of practice sessions . How do you grip your clubs? 🤔 . This glove from @mailordergolf allows you to check your grip to see if you have a strong, weak or neutral grip . There are many different ways to actually hold the golf club, but ultimately your hands are going to be set in one of these three ways . - Disregarding how you actually connect your hands, the neutral grip is how most people are taught to hold the golf club as this gives the easiest and best chance of controlling the club face through the swing . The neutral grip consists of (for right handed players) the v in your right hand between your thumb and finger pointing up to your right armpit, and the left v in between your thumb and finger pointing towards your left armpit where you should then be able to only see 2 maybe three knuckles on your left hand from a set up position . - A strong grip then is when your grip moves around the club to the right and will be more in the palm of your hands rather than the fingers . This is where a lot of people feel like they can generate a lot of power from and is a typical grip of someone who has played a lot of cricket in their time. . Only with a golf club, using this grip will create more of a draw as it allows the hands to turn over through impact much easier so you can lose a lot of shots out to the left easier than you would with a neutral grip . - and then finally the weak grip is where your grip moves around to the left of the grip. This position lives up to its name and doesn’t allow for much power. Need to thank @mailordergolf for sending me out this meandmygolf impact bag which is going to help save me from breaking my wrists hitting this tyre . Apparently back in the day hitting a tyre with your iron was a good way of training as it has multiple benefits from doing so . One thing that isn’t a benefit is the wrist injuries that can come with hitting a tyre.. which actually is what Bryson was struggling with and I recently watched a video of him hitting a tyre as hard as he could repeatedly during a training session . Another thing is that having access to a spare tyre isn’t that common so an impact bag is a much easier way to train .
